I went 20 minutes earlier than my appointment time, but there was barely any waiting, so taking photos and getting the CT scan didn’t take long. At first I had a consultation with the manager, and they were kind. I had a consultation with [Doctor A], but they seemed so busy because they had to go into surgery soon. Not especially kind, but rather honest. These days they say insurance coverage for the nasal valve basically never gets approved. My nose isn’t the kind that can handle a lot of different procedures, so they honestly said it would become more harmonious with my face and more natural-looking. So I started wondering if cosmetic nose surgery is just something I should leave alone. I had the CT scan, but they didn’t say anything about functional nose surgery, so when I said I had gotten a CT scan, they only then said, oh, I see, and moved me to a room where they could look at the CT. The computer was lagging, so we went up to the 13th floor and had the consultation while looking at the photos. They were extremely cynical. But the funny thing was, when they usually demonstrate lifting the nose tip, I thought they’d use something like a cotton swab, but they held my nostrils with their hand and lifted them, which surprised me a bit lol. They showed me the eye line about five times too... to put it briefly, they just weren’t warm, but they were honest. At the final manager consultation, the manager seemed to know less than I did about whether the nasal valve was non-covered or covered, so I was a bit taken aback .. haha; I probably won’t do it.
