I had my first double-eyelid surgery at that hospital when I was in 9th grade, so it was the first place I ever had surgery. Maybe because I was so young, the doctor was overly cautious and not too aggressive, so I had revision surgery 3 years later, but I still feel satisfied that it was not overcorrected. What I remember most is that I wanted to ask for sedation anesthesia, but because I had same-day surgery, I could not say it, so they only used local anesthesia. I had heard the local anesthesia injection was extremely painful, so I was worried, but it really did not hurt at all. During the surgery it hurt a little now and then, but the calm classical music and the kind tone of the doctor helped me relax. Maybe because it was my first surgery, the swelling lasted for a very long time.
