I came in to get a consultation for revision surgery because the tip of my nose sagged after my first surgery. The wait was a bit long, but it was okay. The director gave a very thorough consultation, but once it felt like it was taking a bit too long, they kind of ushered me out, which was a little off-putting, but there were other people waiting and I had already asked everything I needed, so it was fine. But they said they might reuse the existing material and that they would use donor rib cartilage, and it was too expensive, so I don’t think I’ll have the surgery. I came in already thinking about autologous rib cartilage, so I don’t think their approach matches what I want.
