First of all, the clinic interior was very neat and pretty, so the first impression was good. The staff at the front desk were also very kind. They took my CT scan right after I arrived, but the consultation with the doctor itself ended up being about 40 minutes later than my scheduled consultation time. The consultation manager was really great. She explained everything carefully and didn’t pressure me at all, so I felt very comfortable during the consultation. At the end, she even recommended that I visit other clinics too and compare carefully, saying nose surgery is not a light procedure, so I should compare a lot, which increased my trust. The consultation with the doctor was short compared to the wait. About 10 minutes? Maybe because he was busy, he just rattled off what he had to say, so it didn’t feel like a setting where I could ask questions. I don’t mind an emotionless tone at all (skill is what matters. I don’t even expect them to be especially kind.) but it was vague because it seemed like he wasn’t very interested in what the patient wanted.. In the end, surgery is about self-satisfaction, but if the doctor doesn’t want to listen to what the patient wants, will the result really be satisfying? I started to doubt that.. Still, he seemed professional, and according to the manager, he only performs two surgeries a day, which I liked. Conclusion = a clinic that the consultation manager carried hard. They seemed proud of the materials they use, and if I had heard that from the doctor and if the doctor’s consultation had been as detailed as the manager’s, I probably would have chosen this place right away.
