The surgery method they like and the line they like are very firm, and they really seemed incredibly busy. So I think shy people might feel they aren't very kind. I think you really need to communicate the exact nose shape you want clearly. They showed me with a cotton swab, and I said it seemed way too high, but they said it had to come up this much for the front view of a wide nose to improve. Also, I wanted no implant, but they said this was a nose that absolutely needed silicone. When I asked why, they said that to correct a wide nose, the tip had to be raised that much, and the connection point with the bridge could look sunken because that was just the way this kind of nose is. So I had no choice but to get it, but after reading reviews from other hospitals, it seems they can also fill it by compacting cartilage. I think it's better to research carefully before going. It's scary to live with an implant after all ㅎㅎ.. Before surgery, the consultation lasted more than 10 minutes, and I went back a few times after surgery because of a red side effect at the tip of my nose (the symptom is still continuing even now, 6 months later), but I could only talk for about 4 minutes? I asked whether the redness at the tip was because the tip had been raised too much and whether it had been done while considering that my skin is thin, and they said things like it looks pretty, it turned out well, thin skin only really can be known once it's opened, and who would know before opening it, which made me go, huh? ㅠㅡㅠ I live with the thought that no one knows what else may happen later or whether the redness will disappear, but at least I'm thankful it's not a more serious side effect. I said I just wanted the wide nose improved, that I definitely didn't want it to be raised naturally and that I had no greed for anything more, but the tip of my nose became much higher than before. The redness at the tip of my nose had been there continuously since the splint was removed, and I kept waiting because they said it would disappear within 1 to 3 months, but it was still there, so I contacted them again. Then they said recovery takes up to 6 months, so I waited again, but even when the weather got warmer it was still thereㅎㅎ... Now I can't even blame the weather. I can't go right away because of work, but when I have time I want to go for another consultation... This time I should definitely bring my questions, because otherwise they seem to go off to do other work since they're busy. The hospital facilities seem clean. It's much bigger than I expected, like a large hospital! Like other reviews said, maybe it will settle down after more than a year? + Writing again after 1 year. This is my personal opinion. The redness at the tip of my nose didn't disappear completely, but aside from occasionally turning red, it has improved compared to before. And the tip of my nose did not go down. The tip stayed the same, and as the swelling in the bridge went down, a step difference appeared. But I developed a functional side effect. Starting in September, seasonal rhinitis symptoms appeared, and on the side where the septum is bent, my nose gets blocked. Then when the rhinitis ended, the turbinates suddenly shrank, and I developed empty nose syndrome symptoms, and even my throat hurts ㅠ I also went in for a consultation because of the functional side effects, but as soon as I arrived, they showed me a photo of my nose before surgery and said, 'Do you really want to go back to this nose?;;' I had written down questions because I didn't want to just spend 4 minutes like before, but they answered me in a very casual way while calling me 'you,' and they didn't answer questions about surrogate surgery at all. I'll only write this much about what happened during that consultation... Also, before surgery they said they would only do it with septal cartilage support, 2 mm silicone shaved down, hump reduction, ear cartilage for the tip, and bulbous nose correction (cartilage binding). But after checking around, I heard people say they do manipulations that they don't mention in the pre-op consultation. Since the functional side effects started, I asked the manager to tell me exactly what was done in my surgery, and it turned out they also did 'septal extension' and used not only septal cartilage but also bone they harvested... When I said they never mentioned that before surgery and asked why they did it that way, they said extension is basically included in all nose surgeries, and they have never once had a problem from harvesting bone. Also, in the pre-op consultation, when I asked, 'If problems like infection or contracture happen, you'll remove everything, and even if it's just a shape issue you'll remove it all too, but is it possible to remove it without problems?' they said yes. But when I went to have it removed, they said things like, 'Why on earth do you want to remove it? If you remove it, it'll droop like a tent with the support pole taken out; I don't understand,' and other things like that... I suspected they were saying different things before and after, ever since the splint came off, but I never thought it would be real... Also, starting about a month before the 1-year mark, one nostril suddenly started looking pinched, and when I contacted the manager, the doctor's answer was that it was becoming slimmer as the swelling went down. The manager is kind? They even prepared things like the surgery record sheet... but when you ask about a problem, it's the same fixed mechanical answer... just with a soft tone... I kept contacting them because of the side effects, and they talked about how even though they were on break they were still answering, and stuff like that. It's their job, so why... Then where am I supposed to contact... And they said I had to put in silicone because of the step difference, so I had no choice but to do that, but in the end the tip of my nose became too high and caused the step difference. When I told the hospital, they told me to get revision surgery. Before surgery they lured me in by saying they only charge the anesthesia fee, but then they asked for the material cost too, quoting about as much as I would pay at another hospital. I really liked the pretty nose review photos posted on places like ㄱㄴㅇㄴ and ㅂㅂㅌ, so I was drawn in by those, but it turned out they were broker posts? That photo was also circulating on this community, and someone posted it with a link. That's when I realized I had gone in because I got taken in by brokers... Please make sure to read other reviews too and choose carefully... Just because they're famous for revision surgery doesn't mean they're all good, or maybe they became famous for revision surgery because they were natural in primary surgery and then people looking for a glamorous result for revision started going there. Think it through carefully.
