It has been 4 years since I got my eyes done, and I had it done when I was in high school. People seeing me for the first time say they had no idea I had double eyelid surgery and that my eyes are so pretty. I don't remember the friendliness, but at one point I was told that since my nose would likely need surgery someday, they would do a less extensive inner canthoplasty. That is the one thing that stayed with me from the consultation. They said they would set the line at 9 mm to 10 mm, which surprised me, but after the surgery I thought it could have been a little higher.
