While looking into several hospitals for surgery to lower the tip of my nose, I ended up finding Baro Ko Plastic Surgery, one of the hospitals I thought seemed okay. First of all, the staff were kind. Then it was my turn for consultation, and I spoke with the doctor. (A CT scan was done beforehand.) I had already had one nose surgery, so I was feeling pretty scared, and during the consultation I felt even more hopeless. Hearing that contracture had occurred and that it could get worse made me even more afraid. I asked about the surgical method, the bone used (rib cartilage), the time needed, and other things I was curious about, and then ended the consultation. After that I had a detailed consultation with the consultation manager. My overall impression was that they probably really have done many cases... but it didn't feel like a consultation that put me at ease. I thought it would have been better if they had reassured the patient first... And I understand the role of the consultation manager, but... why did it feel a little like sales? When I thought about septal surgery, nose surgery, and other treatments, it seemed like I would have to spend one-third of a year's salary to get treated. I didn't decide to have surgery here, but... as an initial consultation, it did serve as a 기준 for judgment.
