I had my first nose surgery 10 years ago. I was timid, so they suggested various options, and even said it could be made higher. But they only performed a surgery that kept my current line and raised it naturally along that same line. I was satisfied, but it was sooooo natural that unless I said something, no one could tell I had surgery. After 10 years, the cartilage weakened and the alar sides collapsed like they were out of sync. I'm currently considering revision surgery. But I lived well for 10 years without any problems, and I had absolutely no side effects.
