After consulting at several places, I had a consultation with Director Kang Hongdae and decided right away. Honestly, if you get a consultation, you’ll understand. I knew nothing about plastic surgery, but he explained everything so thoroughly, slowly, and kindly. I had a difficult case because I had a lot of flesh over my eyelids so they were thick, I had severe ptosis, and I also had a pronounced epicanthic fold So the surgery included double-eyelid incision, skin removal, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction. The swelling lasted a long time, which was hard, but compared with before, it improved a lot and there were no major side effects, so I’m satisfied. However, even though it was an incision procedure, the line at one outer corner did not form from the beginning I had a second surgery (at no extra cost) about two weeks later, but the line still didn’t form, so in the end I just gave up and live with it I think I’ll need to have it revised again when I’m older. Anyway, to sum up, the director is truly kind, and even if there is a part you’re dissatisfied with, he tries to take responsibility for it. But his overall style seems to favor a slightly high, thick line, so I think it’s best to discuss that in advance before surgery.
