Personally, I’m so grateful to Director Kim. I was too embarrassed to thank them directly. When I went for the consultation, I was going through a really hard time, and my emotions were tangled and I felt rushed, so it was hard to be careful. It was also hard because I kept getting overcharged, and if I tried to keep the cost down as much as possible, I would just end up feeling like I was making the decision based on price. I couldn’t open up, so the consultations with the doctors didn’t get me anywhere and I only wasted time. But after the consultation with the director, I calmed down and started to think more positively. When I looked around the hospital, it seemed like they had a good image with other patients too. I was actually worried about the doctor because they had a lot of experience and had been in the same place for a long time, but they were not authoritarian at all and were calm. It felt like they were keeping a middle ground, not being overly kind but also not even slightly rude. After going through so many consultations, I really felt that not many people answer questions carefully without showing annoyance. So I trusted this person a lot. There are quite a lot of foreign patients at the hospital. I saw many from Asia, but there were also English speakers, which was surprising. But I don’t know the full circumstances, and it doesn’t seem like everyone at the hospital is positive about surgery. The foreign patients also seem extremely strict. Honestly, the nurses are the kindest.
