I’m not sure whether the doctor is just meticulous or just relaxed. There were pauses in between during the consultation, so I got the consultation for a bit, then waited outside for a while, then was told to draw the nose shape I wanted, then waited again before going back in to continue the consultation. The director really disliked vague, subjective language. She really hated words like wanting to be refined or wanting to look feminine, and told me to speak objectively about which parts I wanted improved. Because my nose was small and upturned, there were a lot of before-and-after photos of upturned noses here, which drew me in, but the price was 715 for donated rib? I think, and 770 for autologous rib. If I chose autologous rib, I also had to get a CT scan and blood test? done at another hospital, which would cost an additional 170,000 won. The surgery time was 7 hours with donated rib and 9 hours with autologous rib. Please note that cost and surgery time vary by person, and this was an estimate for my small, upturned, short nose as a first surgery.
