My first surgery was a no-implant nose tip surgery with septal cartilage, and in the end there was really no change at all, so I had a revision at Siwoo with a silicone bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the tip, and about a year has passed now. In the end, the bridge is okay, but the tip did not get much higher, so it was stressful. There is a before-and-after difference, but it wasn't dramatic, so I was very disappointed considering how much the cost burden was. I heard a lot during consultations that because my nose is small, it isn't a nose that can be raised very much.. And after the surgery, the director said there was a lot of adhesion, so the operation took much longer than expected and the costal cartilage was also smallㅠㅠ I can't say for sure I would have been satisfied even if I had done it somewhere else, so I just live with it, but I feel disappointed every time I look in the mirror. The manager was so pretty and kind, so I liked that. And overall, it felt professional, which I liked. I think the director is skilled too!! From the middle to later part of the surgery I was conscious, and they tried in different millimeters of silicone to see what suited me and said things like this one seems better, and that was that.. I also liked that they kept taking photos throughout the surgery and explained after it ended how the surgery had progressed, how severe the adhesions were, and how it looked after they released them. After the surgery, the autologous costal cartilage pain was much worse than I expected, so the first 1-2 weeks were hard, and my scar was about 4-5 cm. I managed it with patches or something like that, but it hasn't faded much and is clearly visible.. Of course, it is natural, but for about half a year after surgery the swelling slowly goes down and the tip becomes noticeably lower than it was at first, so I'm writing this so you know.
