About a year ago, I had cartilage put in and a nostril-tip surgery with no implant material in it (a septal extension procedure with a pretty bad reputation), but starting a month after the surgery, as the swelling went down, the once-smooth line became bumpy. From the front there was basically no difference at all, and the side view was the only part that changed somewhat, but once the swelling went down and the line became bumpy, even people I know did not realize I had had nose surgery. I do not know what I paid for or what I even did. When I asked later, they said that since it was an implant-free surgery, there was nothing they could do. They said that if I wanted to keep a smooth line, I would have needed silicone. I originally chose implant-free because I did not want silicone, but I wish they had told me even before the surgery. Also, during the surgery, one nursing assistant in the anesthesia room was extremely rude. She yanked my arm hard and spoke sharply, which really upset me. The front desk staff were kind. They say there is one year of free aftercare, but I do not expect it to improve, so I probably will not do it. The plus side is that I think the doctor was an ENT specialist. That made me trust them. In fact, I was not in much pain after the surgery. At the consultation I thought there was probably no better place than this clinic, but I guess there really is a different clinic for each person.
