The facility was dazzling, as expected from a brand-new building. I went in for a consultation about revision rhinoplasty (both cosmetic and functional issues). For the cosmetic side, they pointed out that structural problems meant it would not improve much. For the functional side, they recommended only trimming the inferior turbinate. The person who explained the cost didn't really give a very professional explanation. They said a lot of students do it and it's a simple procedure with quick recovery, but speaking about it so casually, like it's nothing, lowered my trust, so I decided not to go. After actually seeing people who developed empty nose syndrome after inferior turbinate resection, I felt even more strongly that it shouldn't be touched carelessly..
