They strongly recommended donor rib cartilage for revision surgery.. I said I had no intention of using donor rib cartilage because of absorption, but they said it was better than leaving permanent scars on young women's bodies(?). They said that because they use good donor ribs, absorption is not a problem.. But just by looking here, there are so many people who had donor-rib surgery and had it absorbed, so I was a bit skeptical. I had a short-nose / piggy-nose problem, but they said they would not do alar base lowering surgery at all because it makes the nose stiff. This part was actually helpful when I consulted other hospitals.
