Because everyone said the silicone was showing, I replaced the silicone and had surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I debated donor rib cartilage because of the price, but I chose my own cartilage since I thought it would still be better. Autologous rib cartilage was better than I expected, but my face swelled a lot and it was hard. It took more than 3 weeks for the swelling to go down. The shape feels more natural than before. Best of all, I don't hear that the silicone is showing anymore.
