Before the CT scan and consultation, they show you a 10-minute video covering basic knowledge about the nose, such as how to read a CT scan and how to measure septal cartilage size. For people seeing a nasal consultation for the first time, I think it’s good because you can go into the consultation with some background knowledge. The director looked at the shape and structure of my nose in great detail, but they didn’t show me, with drawings or Photoshop, how the shape would change after surgery, so that was a little disappointing. The consultation felt like it just ended after they explained my nose condition and the surgical method. I had a few things I wanted to ask, but I couldn’t ask them and left. It doesn’t seem like a good fit for people who want a deep, sufficiently long, and detailed consultation. At another place, they also recommended correcting my deviated septum, but the director said my septum wasn’t crooked enough to need correction at this point, and that just reducing the inferior turbinate would probably be enough. The price seems higher than other places. There was a place near Sinsa Station that quoted an absurd price, so it wasn’t shocking to that extent, but even with a discount it’s still somewhat on the higher side compared with others. Still, it’s not dramatically expensive. In summary, I think this would be good for people with no prior experience with rhinoplasty consultations who want to know what surgery method their current nose needs. Since the director is an ENT specialist, I also felt a bit less worried about functional problems developing in the nose after surgery. But because of my consultation experience with the director, I’m not sure whether I’d actually have surgery here.
