They said asymmetry and visible cartilage could be improved, but that it was a somewhat ambiguous case. They said that if they could trust the previous hospital, ideally they would just tidy up the protruding cartilage there. They showed me papers and said the difference between donated rib cartilage and autologous rib cartilage isn’t huge, so I could choose whichever I wanted. The doctor was kind, and I felt I could trust him.
