I went for a health checkup and there was a finding suggesting implant rupture, so I went in for a consultation at Milkdrop, which is famous for breast revision surgery. They said they couldn't find the implant rupture on ultrasound and it was ambiguous. The only sure way is to get an MRI. They asked whether, if the implant is fine, I wouldn't do it, or whether I still wanted to do it because I was worried, and I said I didn't want to but it felt like I had to. There was no separate body-type analysis, they didn't explain the implant, and they just told me to choose within my implant budget, and there was no explanation of breast design, so I had to ask myself. They said they'd decide on the implant height after opening it and seeing which one to use, and if I wanted it bigger, sizes from 70 to 100 were possible. They said the capsule looked normal on ultrasound, so they wouldn't remove it, and it would take about 1 hour. For the questions I asked, they explained things in detail like a professor, but there was no basic analysis of my body type and no fitting... It felt like I just had to trust them and leave it to them, and since this was a big surgery involving a lot of money, the consultation fell short of my expectations, so I was kind of stunned. Maybe because I had just gone to a hospital that does PPT-style consultations, the overall consultation felt very disappointing... It made choosing even harder.
