After several revision surgeries, I got an infected nose, with the columella sunken in, the nostrils narrowed, and the bridge becoming bumpy, so my nose was completely ruined. I traveled 3 hours each way from the provinces and went to consultations at more than 20 places, including university hospitals. Most of them said it was a high-difficulty, difficult nose, and that surgery could make it worse, or asked why I didn't just avoid surgery, so there were a lot of negative consultations. But the director here was extremely confident and said it wasn't that difficult and that it was a surgery that could go well. In fact, he spoke so confidently that I, who had been in despair the whole time, felt a bit stunned and started wondering whether I should believe him. He was very kind, spent a long time in consultation, was professional, and spoke honestly. The price is also the lowest among all the hospitals I've been to, probably because they don't use autologous costal cartilage and instead use buttock dermis. If it really gets better just like he said, it would be a huge bargain, but as I kept going to consultations and hearing different things at every hospital about how difficult it is, I still felt unsure even though he was so confident. He probably has a lot of experience and has done this surgery many times, so maybe that's why. Anyway, the consultation is still worth going to.
