I agonized over it for years, went through consultations at six places, and this was the one I finally decided on. There were things like periosteal fixation and fascial fixation, and I remember mainly looking for places that focused on the fascia. I heard through the grapevine that the difference was how quickly the eye-smile returned, so that was why I went. I was told non-incisional surgery settles quickly, and especially since I heard from three places that I had very little space, I decided I should go with the place that would open it up as much as possible. They really opened it up as much as there was. The eye-smile came back by week 3, and other people just thought I had lost weight, but it definitely looks fresher.
