After my first surgery, the tip of my nose became lower and the columella looked slightly cut off, so I decided to have revision surgery. The reason I wanted revision was that I was unhappy with the columella shape and the overall nasal line. I collected a shortlist by reading many reviews, and this place looked good among them, so I chose it and went in for a consultation. But after reading the reviews here, it seemed that revision surgery is often done here with a non-open approach, and the results looked good too, so I went in thinking about a non-open method to some extent. However, when they looked at both the change I wanted and my current nose condition, they said satisfaction might be higher if I went with a typical nasal revision surgery. At first, though, the manager kept recommending another surgeon instead of the surgeon I had wanted, and strongly pushed me to proceed that way, so honestly I was like, what is this...?; Still, when I said again that I wanted a consultation with the head surgeon, they eventually assigned me the head surgeon I had wanted. Anyway, the surgeon did not just say non-open was impossible and stop there; they explained why open revision was needed and how autologous costal cartilage would be used, so it helped me decide the surgical direction... Because this was the head surgeon, the cost was definitely on the high side. Still, since this is revision surgery... The most important thing was how well they could meet my needs, so I decided based on the surgical result first. I am currently recovering, and even though there is still swelling, I like the side profile and nasolabial angle better than before.
