This goes back almost 10 years. I wanted a zygoma reduction surgery, so after frantically searching online I went from my hometown to Seoul for a consultation. During the consultation, I was told there was nothing to cut on the cheekbones, so they recommended jaw surgery instead. I said I hadn't come for jaw surgery, but they told me that if I shaved down only a little of the jaw, it would make my face look more refined, and that unlike other hospitals, they had a surgical method that cut all the way to the chin in one go. One of the biggest mistakes of my life ㅠ ㅠ I absolutely should never have done it. Afterward, my face shape became an inverted triangle ㅠㅠㅠ The lower jaw looked underdeveloped, the lower face disappeared, and of course with no lower face, my cheekbones looked even bigger. The cheekbones they said had nowhere to be cut ended up being operated on somewhere else. ㅠㅠ Even now, more than 10 years later, I'm still looking into reconstruction. I still wonder why they recommended an unnecessary jaw surgery ㅅ̄̈ㅂ I was just a kid then... I'm really so upset and resentful. It wasn't refined, it just became a cheap, tacky face shape. Reconstruction would cost almost 20 million won.. If I go through with it, I'd end up spending nearly 30 million won on my jaw alone ㅠㅠ But for people who truly have a square jaw, surgery can be a good procedure. There was nothing wrong with the jaw nerve or anything like that ㅠ It was just a surgery that didn't suit me ㅠㅠ sob
