After I posted last time, I sent the hospital another consultation message about my nose issue, and the aftercare manager called me. I wanted to make a scene, but I swallowed my anger and, whew, talked to the manager on the phone. I explained the condition of my nose, saying they had told me to watch it until the 6-month mark and then come back, and asked them to book an appointment. They said that wasn’t it, that they had said to observe it for 6 months after the last consultation.. saying things they never said.. I felt like I’d be the one losing out, so I held back and said, “Manager, you consult with many patients so you may be confused, but I remember everything from my own perspective, and that’s not how you talked about the appointment either.” Ah, I’m getting annoyed while writing this.. I had surgery in mid-May, but if it’s 6 months after the last consultation, then if I go again and they say to watch it longer, and that there’s no way anything will protrude from the nasal tip, then I’ll just pass 1 year, the entire AS period will be over, I won’t even be able to say anything, and I’ll have to pay 50% myself. I got angry and thought, what’s the point of talking to this person, so I complained to the consultation manager and exploded. In the end, I requested that the aftercare manager be changed. They said the nose may need to be lowered, or possibly removed. What can I do? If that’s what has to be done, then that’s what has to be done, so I booked an appointment date for now and hung up. When they say it has to be lowered, is lowering it even possible? And if it’s removed, is it okay to have revision surgery again after some time passes? And I did mention this during the phone consultation, but
Do I absolutely have to get surgery from that doctor? Or is it okay to get it from another doctor at the same hospital.. Ah, if anyone has experience, please give me some info.
