From the moment I came out of surgery, the bruising was intense, and I still have purple bruises on my eyelids and both cheekbonesㅋㅋㅋ They said the swelling and bruising last longer because I had osteotomy, but they did say I’m a bit of an unusual case. They said there are almost no people whose bruising lasts this long..
Before surgery, I looked at hospitals’ review photos and chose a place that made the nasal tip sharp, swoosh~ pretty, dramatic, and high.. During the consultation, I kept asking them to make my nasal tip slim and high.. So why does my nose still look bulbous?? When I look at other people’s reviews here, as soon as the splint comes off, the line is already visible, it looks sharp, and they don’t have dark blue bruises eitherㅜ
I’m so sad because whenever I get surgery, it never turns out properly. Everyone else’s faces become dramatically prettier, so why doesn’t it work for me? But what am I supposed to do about this bulbous-looking noseㅠ judging by how slowly the bruising is fading, I feel like this is all there isㅠ And I want to remove the sebum quicklyㅜㅜ I feel so dirty. I miss nose packs. I miss extractions
For my eyes, I got a semi-out line, but it’s settling into an in-out line., Is this a failure tooㅋㅋ I’m going crazy.. Maybe I should’ve just done a full outline. Sigh
Because of the bruising, I’m wearing a mask these days, but it hurts even if the mask just brushes against my nasal tip. Of course it feels numb and tingling, and it still feels anesthetizedㅋㅋ I don’t wear the abdominal binder anymore where the costal cartilage was taken from. When I sneeze, I just need to press it lightly with my hand.. But when I sleep, my cat always steps right on the surgical site while passing by, and it hurts like hellㅡㅡ Lying on my side is still uncomfortable because it pulls..
They say things work out for people who are meant to have them work out.. Other people’s faces change just from double eyelid surgery, but me, what even.. Did I sell out my country in a past life or something.. How far do I have to go.. Sigh
