I regretted getting cheekbone surgery because of asymmetry + complications from the fixation wire.. The fixation pin was cut too long, causing it to poke my gums.. It was a factory-style surgery, and aftercare was also lacking.. Sensation on one side of my mouth still hasn't come back properly, so it still feels stiff.. I should have gone to a specialist for the cheekbones. In the end, the inflammation got so bad that I had to have revision surgery.
