I had jaw and cheekbone surgery together because they said it was safe and effective since it was done with a laser, but it was honestly the worst. There was no effect at all. Later, when I got a CT scan, I saw that the jaw had been cut into a weird shape and was sliced unevenly. Even now, almost 7 years later, I still have a strange sensation under the left side of my lip. If I spill food on myself or it gets on me, the sensation is off and I don't really notice it. One side of the cheekbone is still left open, and even when I touch it with my hand, I can feel the gap. The other side only has a mark where it was cut halfway, and it hasn't been corrected at all. It was truly the worst!!!
