The doctor took a very thorough, long time with the consultation. I was worried about the revision surgery and had a lot of stress, but he said it seemed like inflammation, so it would be better to remove it first, watch the progress, and proceed from there. He doesn't seem to prefer an open approach, so he said he would do it with a closed approach.
