I mainly went around single-doctor clinics in Apgujeong
My nose is upturned, and a long time ago I had silicone put in my nasal bridge, but it was positioned too high, so from the side I looked like a fish-man, which was seriously stressful,, So I decided to get revision surgery and am leaving a review of the consultations I had!
1. ㄱㅇㅈ (No reviews, but it’s that famous place because some idol supposedly got it done there, so this was the place I had the highest expectations for) -Remove the silicone implant and start over -Because the muscle that pulls the nasal tip causes my upper lip to open, they said they would cut that and fill in some tissue, blah blah (to improve protruding mouth) -Use ear cartilage for the nasal tip -If the nasal bridge isn’t low, they don’t necessarily raise it. They usually don’t raise it. It didn’t seem like they put anything into the nasal bridge (seems to be the doctor’s direction) -Recommended filler later if I don’t like the nasal bridge -Quote: 5 million
<Personal thoughts> *As you can tell from other reviews, the consultation was kind and thorough, and they told me that if I wanted a flashy nose, their clinic couldn’t do it (trust increased) *I liked the before-and-after photos (I liked the feeling of naturally projecting the nasal tip) *I felt reassured that they use only autologous tissue without silicone
2. ㅇㅈ -They took a photo of my face with a tablet and did virtual surgery (they virtually showed removing the nasal bridge silicone, slightly raising the nasal tip, and slightly lowering the columella) -Improve the short columella and nasal bridge by removing the implant, slightly raise the nasal tip -For an upturned nose like mine, they recommended a straight nose shape -They mostly use silicone for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip -The right nostril wing droops more, so it can be improved by raising the nostril wing, but it won’t completely disappear (they didn’t strongly recommend it) (extra cost) -Free A/S for 3 years -Quote: 5.7 million (6.7 million if correcting the nostril wing)
<Personal thoughts> *The consultation was kind, calm, and they answered well. I liked the consultation atmosphere at ㅇㅈ the most *Looking at the revision rhinoplasty before-and-after photos, it did feel very natural, but I liked the virtual surgery nose shape itself *The fact that they use silicone in the nasal bridge does make me feel a bit less reassured than ㄱㅇㅈ
<Overall> I’m leaning a little more toward ㄱㅇㅈ,, but I’m so torn @.@ If anyone has had their nose done at ㄱㅇㅈ or ㅇㅈ, please leave a comment. I’m really, really conflicted, ugh
