I was recommended a place near Gangnam Station that was said to be good at reconstruction.
At the first consultation, I had planned to just create nostrils and then have surgery at a hospital famous aesthetically, but the place near Gangnam Station said that only creating nostrils was not possible, so I decided to undergo an overall surgery. They said the surgery might need to be supplemented over several sessions,
and that each time I would only need to pay 500,000 won for anesthesia.
I had surgery on December 29, 2021. Nostrils were created, but cosmetically, the external appearance did not become a normal nose.
So I still could not live like a normal person, heard people say I looked hideous, could not meet people, and spent 6 months in pain.
I had surgery in June 2022, but externally it still did not become a normal-looking nose.
So they said they would operate again this April, but they told me to pay 3 million won. So I asked them to lower it, and they said they would do it for 1.5 million won. 1.5 million won if under general anesthesia (when proceeding with costal cartilage) 500,000 won if under sedation anesthesia (when proceeding with silicone)
But they clearly said at the beginning that for each revision surgery I would only need to pay 500,000 won for anesthesia, and I think it is wrong for them to change their words now.
And regarding the external appearance, shouldn't the nose become normal-looking even to other people? Didn't I come to have surgery in order to receive a successful operation? When I said this to the manager, she raised her voice, asking what on earth that standard was, and communication was impossible.
The manager only emphasized that it had improved compared to before,
but I said that I was not having surgery just to become slightly better than before, but to have a successful, normal nose.
They just keep emphasizing that my case is difficult.
I was recommended this hospital, but the reason I trusted that recommendation was because on the hospital website, there were before-and-after photos of patients with cases more severe than mine whose noses became normal through successful surgery, and I believed in that.
But even after receiving two surgeries near Gangnam Station, cosmetically and aesthetically, I still have to live covering my face.
For the past few days, I wanted to talk with the manager, so I called the hospital, but they would not connect me to the manager. I asked them to have her contact me, but the manager has not contacted me.
I can no longer trust that hospital, so through the hospital consultation KakaoTalk, I requested at least a half refund, but there was no reply, and they do not answer when I call.
After the first surgery near Gangnam Station, nostrils were created, so I was happy because I thought it had gone well, and I even wrote a grateful review, but once the swelling went down, the result showed properly. As expected, reviews should not be written in a rush right after surgery.
