At first, I went for an in-person consultation because I was stressed about my upper arms due to my wedding photoshoot in July. First, the manager measured the amount of fat by hand, and the director personally checked the fat thickness with ultrasound. Then I ended up getting a consultation for my thighs as well, and they honestly explained the condition of my legs and arms and what they would look like after surgery in detail. Since I am a muscular type, they explained that I wouldn’t be able to get the extremely bony arms or bony legs you see in reviews, and that it would be more about refining the lines. That actually made me trust them more because they didn’t just say, “We can remove as much as possible, let’s do surgery,” so I immediately booked a surgery date and went ahead with it. First, I had my thighs done on March 25, and then I had my arms done on April 15.
When I woke up after surgery, the pain was worse in the order of legs > arms. Honestly, my legs hurt so much, and then when I had my arms done, the arms just felt like muscle soreness. After about 10 days for both, it became bearable, the bruising gradually turned yellow, and a lot of the swelling went down, so daily life became much easier. Even now, I’m consistently focusing on half-body baths and moisturizing, and I’m stretching diligently, so I’m happy to see the swelling gradually going down. If I keep managing it steadily until July, I think I’ll be able to take pretty wedding photos. Oh! And I had the surgery thinking of it as line refinement, but the results seem much slimmer than I expected, and the scars are smaller than at other clinics, so my satisfaction is extremely high. I really think I made the right choice having surgery at Lovel Avenue, and I think I met a great manager and director.
