Sharing my footwork review after consultations for revision eye surgery and first-time nose surgery
Current facial condition: my eyes have an inline crease with the inner corners tightly closed, so people only notice I had double eyelid surgery if I tell them; I had various things done to my nose under the name of nose lifting, so it is a round and chubby bulbous nose~ =================================== Clinic 1 (large) --> Here, early on, I only got a nose consultation without thinking about the eyes CT O, clinical photos O, consultation & CT fee X Plan: nasal bridge, nasal tip, bulbous nose correction, nasolabial angle correction, osteotomy, foreign material removal Materials: silicone, ear cartilage, septal cartilage, donated/autologous costal cartilage (choice) Cost: low 6 million won range, they said they would discount it to the low 4 million won range if I provided photos + wrote a review + booked the same day Aftercare: swelling laser twice AS: 1 year, only anesthesia fee 100,000 won; material cost if needed, yes Anesthesiology: available, they said I have to visit the hospital before surgery for ECG, blood test, and X-ray (in-house testing available)
Overall review: the director/manager/staff were generally kind, yes I think waiting + consultation took about 1 hour total Manager did not pressure me about other surgeries or same-day booking X The director pointed out only what was needed and talked about what it would be like if the nasal tip were raised. While looking at the CT, he checked the overall nose condition and said the septal cartilage size was not bad, but recommended using costal cartilage. However, he said the bulbous nose would not improve a lot... so I passed on this place.. Rambling: But what was a bit unusual was that they leave patient charts on the desk? I wondered if other patients might see personal information if something went wrong ㅠㅜ..
Clinic 2 (medium-sized) CT O, clinical photos O, consultation fee 30,000 won (only with the representative director) Plan: nasal bridge, nasal tip, bulbous nose correction, osteotomy, foreign material removal Materials: silicone, ear cartilage, septal cartilage, donated costal cartilage Cost: nose in the low 6 million won range, eyes in the mid 1 million won range AS: 1 year, anesthesia fee 200,000 won; if materials need to be changed, there is a material fee Aftercare: scar laser, scar injection, regenerative care (they do regenerative care whenever I have time to come in, and scar-related aftercare has to be done while monitoring progress, so whenever I come for follow-up, the director checks and proceeds if needed) Anesthesiology: available, they said I have to visit an affiliated hospital before surgery for ECG, blood test, and X-ray
Overall review: director/manager/staff kindness..? was average Waiting + consultation took 2-3 hours (I went twice) There was slight pressure from the manager to book the same day I had a consultation with the representative nose director, and he said my current nose shape and condition were overall fine. He very clearly pointed out the things I had misunderstood. As expected, foreign material removal was a bit of an issue, but he seemed very confident about the surgery Using the septal cartilage is also borderline, but he showed a video about what happens if the septal cartilage is small or weak, and explained the advantages of costal cartilage well too, yes. He said he could do the surgery well without problems, so I trusted him a little For the eyes, after going to clinic 3, I received an additional consultation with another director. Since he came after finishing surgery, I waited quite a lot and saw him briefly, but even in that short moment he caught what I wanted well and held the line several times! He did not recommend unnecessary surgery either, and said he could give me the result I want with only the surgery for the parts I want to improve Both directors are blunt, but they explain things neatly and exactly, yes Oh, when I said I thought nasolabial angle correction would also be needed, they said that once in surgery, they would keep checking the height and adjust it together if needed, so I was like, okay, I see Rambling: Some of the staff were kind, but it bothered me a bit that they used profanity like f***ing loudly at the desk, but well, they are people too, and if work is hard, that can happen... yeah... I’m like that too...

Overall review: director/manager/staff were the kindest among the three clinics Waiting + consultation took 1 hour There was a little? pressure from the manager to book the same day, but since surgery was fully booked on the date I wanted and I was thinking about it, the manager said she would check the schedule and contact me This was the place I liked the most while searching online, and I went there excited, already imagining myself lying on this clinic’s operating table Actually, I had already put enough knowledge about the nose into my head before going, so it was almost the same as clinics 1 and 2, but unexpectedly they did not mention osteotomy, so when I asked, they said the width was not enough to require osteotomy! As expected, the director was very professional and full of pride in the surgery. He pointed out the line I wanted well too, and said not to worry because he would perform the surgery well enough to meet my expectations Here too, the calcium filler was a bit concerning, but they said they would operate as much as possible without risk, yes I really wanted to do it here, but my schedule and budget did not match, so I decided to do it somewhere elseㅠ But if you are thinking about nose surgery, it seems worth going at least once Rambling: none

In the end, I made the final reservation at clinic 2 and came out to drink with an excited heart❤️ It feels like major construction, but thinking that I’ll become that much prettier makes my heart flutter~~~ Pumpkin porridge, wait for me~~~
