It’s been so long that I don’t even remember the doctor’s name, and I’ve been living well without any major dissatisfaction after the surgery, so I’m writing this.
My natural assets were basically nonexistent, and my body was extremely skinny. My bone structure, like my shoulders and pelvis, was pretty good, but I had no flesh at all, so I was completely scrawny. So I lived stressed out every day with padded bras.
8 years ago, I had surgery with teardrop-shaped (textured) implants called Silimed. Because I was so extremely skinny, the feel couldn’t be good, since what you touch is hardly my own tissue, and probably almost 90% implant. Also, even back then, teardrop implants originally didn’t feel as good compared with round (smooth) implants.
But I had no choice. Because if I put in round implants, they would 100% look like rice bowls.
Now, 8 years later, I’m satisfied that I gained volume, but because my body is so extremely skinny and I have a pigeon chest, my breasts don’t come together, and they just kind of sit there, stuck on.
Also, Motiva seems to be the trend these days, and I heard there was a textured implant recall issue a few years ago.
Honestly, right now I don’t feel anything wrong with my body and I’m living well, but I’m thinking of looking into revision surgery in a few years!
I’ve also heard that for very skinny bodies, the surgical outcome can be better in revision surgery when the pocket has already been opened up a bit, so I’m slightly looking forward to a few years from now lol
