Before<front>Before<side>After<front>After<side>Review from the day of surgery to the next day
I booked the very first surgery slot in the morning and went in It started at 10, so I arrived by 9:20 When I got there, I filled out postoperative precautions, consent forms, and various things They gave me a cold pack, sterile cotton swabs, a little gauze, and a precautions sheet Then I consulted again with the director about how the surgery would be done I had no nasal bridge at all and also had a hump, so they shaved the hump and inserted an implant My nasal bridge was also a little deviated, so the director said he would improve it + nasolabial angle correction
For a first surgery, the price was quite expensive, but when I first had the consultation, they took a CT scan and Director Kook first mentioned the parts I was concerned about and the uncomfortable parts, saying he would improve them this way and that, so I trusted this place more than other hospitals. The consultant who handled my consultation was also very kind, so I liked that too
Anyway, after the surgery I came out and slept in the recovery room for about an hour Then I went out, got my prescription medication at the pharmacy, and bought extra gauze and skin tape too Then I wore my hat backwards, took the subway, and went home My throat was so dry that as soon as I got home I drank a ton of water I was also so hungry that I ordered sushi I couldn’t open my mouth wide, so I cut the sushi and ate it I kept resting at home, and in the evening I also went for a one-hour walk
I’m the type who bruises and swells easily but there was less pain, swelling, and bruising than expected, so I thought maybe I was constitutionally suited for surgery However, that was my miscalculation Around 1 a.m., maybe the painkiller effect wore off, because my nose and the area where cartilage was taken from my ear started hurting tremendously. I was just sitting still and tears kept streaming down At that time I should have taken more painkillers, but I didn’t think of it Whenever I was about to fall asleep, my nose was blocked with cotton, so I couldn’t breathe and my eyes opened I repeated that every hour and slept badlyㅠ
Then the next day I went to the hospital, had the cotton removed, had my nose and ear disinfected, and medicine applied, and it really hurt so much that tears flowed againㅠㅜ Still, once the cotton was removed, my nose was still blocked, but it was much more bearable I still have a splint on, so I can’t tell well yet, but I think the line came out nicely, and I like it Oh, and the thing attached to my forehead in the after photo is an eyeglass holderㅋㄱㅋㅋ They told me not to wear glasses, so I’m wearing them like that
