At one place, they said my septal cartilage was neither large nor small, and that rather than using septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated rib cartilage, using one piece of autologous costal cartilage would be much better, so I got a quote for autologous costal cartilage. The silicone implant was estimated at about 3.5 mm, and after a discount, the estimate was in the mid-to-high 4 million won range.
At another place, they said my septal cartilage is much larger than other people's, and that using autologous costal cartilage when I have material like this would be a waste. They even said that if I were their younger sibling, they would seriously try to stop me. That clinic does mainly septal cartilage and ear cartilage. The silicone implant was quoted thinly at about 2 mm, and the estimate was in the low 4 million won range. This place is completely a one-doctor clinic. When I asked whether using ear cartilage would make it sag easily, they confidently said that only happens when it's not done well.
In the case of ear cartilage, the absorption rate is probably high, right? I really, really don't want revision surgery no matter what, so I'm sooooo torn,, I will go check out other places too, but that place mainly uses autologous costal cartilage,,
