I’m one month post-op after receiving three types of facial contouring from Director Kwon Jae-hyun at the clinic!
I had always been very stressed about my angular and asymmetrical face shape,, It made my impression look strong, I became reluctant to take photos, and my confidence dropped a lot. After a lot of stress and 고민 about my face shape, I decided to have surgery and visited the clinic.
I made a list of clinics while comparing reviews I liked and various other factors, and went to consultations at about three places, with this clinic being the last one. First of all, the reviews were very good, and Director Kwon Jae-hyun was so kind and explained everything in detail. He even explained parts that other clinics had not mentioned and helped me understand them, so the consultation felt really detailed and thorough. More than anything, his confident attitude made me trust him. After the consultation, I decided to have surgery there, and because I wanted to get it done quickly, I booked the surgery right away on my way home hehe
Until I went into surgery, it didn’t really feel real. Half excitement, half fear.. I had booked a morning surgery, so after arriving at the clinic that day, I had one more overall consultation with Director Kwon Jae-hyun before surgery, then waited and went in for the operation. On the day of surgery, I think the anesthesia was harder than the surgical pain. My face didn’t hurt, but I felt extremely nauseous, my throat hurt a lot because of the anesthetic gas, and I couldn’t get my voice out.. Even after the surgery was over, Director Kwon Jae-hyun came by frequently to check my condition, and when I was struggling because I felt nauseous, he even brought me Pocari. The major swelling seemed to go down within days 3-5. Even now, there is still quite a bit of small residual swelling around my front chin and jawline, so when I ask friends or family, they say it looks like I’ve gained just a little weight. I originally don’t have much facial fat, so it feels unfamiliar for my face to look puffy, but I’m so happy that the angles are gone, and I’m looking forward to how it will look as the swelling goes down!! My voice also fully came back after about one to two weeks.
They also provide swelling care, so although it’s far, I visit the clinic once a week for treatment. It doesn’t shrink dramatically, but it did feel like it had some effect. As for food, for about a week after surgery, my mouth didn’t open well, so I mainly had drinks or porridge. After removing the stitches inside my mouth at one week, I ate almost everything. I couldn’t eat large or tough foods, but now at one month post-op, I can eat most moderately hard and chewy foods. My mouth still doesn’t open very wide, so I can’t eat big foods like hamburgers yet, but I cut them up and eat them that way
It’s been one month since surgery, but there isn’t really anything uncomfortable, to the point that I sometimes forget I had surgery. I still don’t really notice any side effects. The sensation at the tip of my chin had been dull, but it has come back quite a lot now too. I think I just need my mouth to open wider soon and for the residual swelling to go down well. The clinic facilities are clean, everyone is very kind, and overall I’m satisfied with the surgical result!!
