These are the two hospitals I'm considering right now, so please take a look My nose currently has septal cartilage + silicone
Hospital 1. (6 million KRW range) CT scan done They said the nasal tip is too high and crooked. Complete removal is possible, but if I want to partially fill the uneven areas little by little with Megaderm and raise the tip only slightly from the existing bridge height, then they suggested cutting a little septal cartilage, leaving the support strut, and lowering it. And they said they would mix the remaining septal cartilage with Megaderm to even out the step between the nasal bridge and the tip. When I asked about lateral osteotomy, they said the bones are somewhat wide. If I want an effect from the front view, it seems okay to do it. There is no problem with my current nose. But they said it is not too late to do osteotomy later after trying the surgery first. When I asked about lowering the columella, they said it is possible by taking a little ear cartilage
Hospital 2. (4 million KRW range) CT not taken -> one of the top 3 for removal They said the nasal tip is too high and crooked. Complete removal is possible, and if not, they would leave the septal cartilage in the tip, lower the tip height, and lowering the columella is possible without taking ear cartilage. They said to remove the silicone and just proceed with Megaderm for the nasal bridge. They said not to do osteotomy. If the bridge becomes slimmer on my face, my eyes will look closer together. They said my bones are not wide at all. They said if I don't like it afterward, they will do osteotomy for me
Regarding osteotomy... the opinions were so clearly split Since one says my nasal bones are not wide and the other says they are wide, I'm really torn about osteotomy ㅜㅜ And the first hospital consulted while looking at the CT scan, while the second hospital didn't take a CT and only examined by touch When I saw the CT, there were areas where the silicone in my nose wasn't adhered to the bone, so it was really uneven... The part where there is a step between the tip and the bridge had two layers of silicone;; But the second hospital said they would just put Megaderm into the bridge, and since they will only see the inside of my nose on the day of surgery, I'm worried what if the result ends up really uneven....
In conclusion 1. Whether or not to do osteotomy. I can do it later, but if I actually do osteotomy and the bones become slimmer, could my eyes really look closer together?
2. The first hospital said they would make the columella with ear cartilage, but the second hospital said they don't need to take ear cartilage... Could it be because the latter doctor has better surgical technique?
3. The second hospital won't know my uneven nose condition because they didn't see a CT, so would Megaderm be possible for the nasal bridge..? Or will they just grind things down properly and make it straight during surgery, and am I worrying too much..????
This is long and I have a lot of questions.. but please give me your opinions even partially ㅜㅜ
