Why do some places mainly recommend donated rib cartilage rather than autologous rib cartilage?? Since each has different pros and cons, just like our preferences differ, I wonder if it’s a difference in the director’s thinking about surgical materials... When I think about safety, I feel autologous rib cartilage is better, but I’m wondering if it’s because donated rib cartilage takes less surgery time and is less difficult than autologous rib cartilage It’s a revision surgery, and I’m looking into Weverse, Last, Mind, Yuno, and OM.
