Before<< Before surgery >>After<< Day of surgery >>After<< 1 month >>After<< 2 months >>After<< 2 months >>8 years ago, I had rhinoplasty together with eye surgery at a large hospital in Sinsa-dong. My eyes are just so-so, and I’m living with them,, hahaha I thought a lot about getting revision rhinoplasty ㅠㅠ
At the time, I had surgery with silicone for the nasal bridge / ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and they also corrected the hump at the same time. I was satisfied with the height, but the tip was a straight line that wasn’t very high, and over time the hump started to show again..ㅠㅠ And the implant also felt like it was slightly shifted to one side?!
These days, a straight semi-beoseon nose is trendy, but I absolutely wanted a glamorous semi-beoseon line with a high nasal tip. Nasal bridge: silicone (I wanted to maintain the height from my first surgery, so I reused the implant that had been used before, which is why I don’t know how many mm it is) Nasal tip: ear cartilage + autologous costal cartilage I also decided to do a slight non-incisional nostril reduction!!!!!!!
Honestly, it is a little ironic that I wanted a glamorous semi-beoseon line with a high nasal tip but hadn’t thought about costal cartilage^^;;;; For the nose I wanted (BJ Bbeulli’s nose), they said costal cartilage would be needed, so I hesitated a little, but the director spoke so clearly and confidently that I said ok! Surgery decided!
The real reason I chose this hospital is that the director tried to listen to my opinions as much as possible..! I could see that he was really trying to listen carefully to what I wanted, so I decided right away. And since I had my first surgery at a large hospital,, it was hard to go for follow-ups, and most of the time I came home after treatment without even seeing the director. So I also deliberately chose a private clinic hahaha
It’s only been two months since surgery, and it was a revision surgery, so my nose does still feel a bit puffy!! (It may feel even more that way because I especially want a sharper and slimmer nose haha) The 2-month photos definitely look slimmer than the 1-month photos?? If the swelling keeps going down like this, I’ll probably have a slim nose soon...^^
Oh, and in the 2-month photos, I had a pimple on my nasal bridge, so I put an acne patch on itㅠㅠ My skin is originally prone to pimples.. I don’t know if it got worse after surgery hahahahahahaha
For reference, I’m an office worker, so I couldn’t take time off work after surgery. I went to work right from the next day, then took a half-day off two days later to go get disinfectedㅠ.ㅠ Thankfully, only the day of surgery and the next day were a little hard, and from the second day onward I felt totally fine, so going in for treatment was no problem at all^.^ (I’m proud of myself.. haha) The columella scar is almost invisible now, and the costal cartilage scar is also fading, so I think it will hardly show after some time!!
Since it’s a revision surgery, the swelling seems to go down a bit more slowly than after a first surgery,, But the line is definitely much prettier than before surgery, and the swelling seems to be going down little by little every day, so I keep looking in the mirror every day!
