Before before after after after It has been 1 month since I had surgery at the plastic surgery clinic~!
My facial bones themselves were not large, but because I did not have much facial fat, the bones looked prominent, which was stressful, so I decided to get facial contouring surgery. In particular, I was stressed that my jaw area looked thick and widely spread, and I wanted to refine it just a little, naturally.
When choosing the hospital for surgery, I looked at review photos and chose based on whether the jaw and cheekbone lines matched the face shape I wanted. The director also said during the consultation that he could operate in the direction I wanted, so I chose this plastic surgery clinic without further hesitation :)
On days 1-2 after surgery, there was not much swelling, then I had a lot of swelling during days 4-5, and from week 2 the swelling started to go down a lot. I had the sideburn stitches removed in week 1 and the intraoral stitches removed in week 2, so I think I started eating regular food from week 2. Currently, I can open my mouth about one finger-width and can eat soft meat like thinly sliced pork belly. However, since I had cheekbone surgery and still need to be careful, I eat without chewing too much.
Before surgery, I had never thought my face was small, but after surgery, every time I look in the mirror I feel like my face has become smaller, so I am satisfied. There is still swelling left in my face, but I am satisfied because my face does not look gaunt and my bones no longer look prominent!
Also, the clinic was not too large, so it did not feel overwhelming, and I am truly grateful to the kind consultation manager, the front-desk staff, and the staff who cared for me throughout the early morning! Especially, it rained the morning after surgery, and I was so grateful to the nurse who waited for the taxi with me and held an umbrella over me~!
I am especially grateful to Director Kwon Jae-hyun for performing the surgery safely :)
