Before/After/After It had been 2 years since I first had rhinoplasty. My nose area was originally on the larger side, and the first surgery didn’t fully address it. It didn’t really suit my face, and it felt like my nose was separate from the rest of my face. Because my nose area was so wide, it felt even more unnatural. But it’s not like I had complications or my nose was crooked, so I hesitated about getting revision surgery. That’s when I finally understood what people mean when they say a nose surgery doesn’t end with just one procedure. Still, I knew it wasn’t something to decide rashly, so I thought it over while researching online and visiting clinics here and there. In the end, I figured that since my nose had already been operated on once, even if it took a second or third surgery, it would be better to keep going until I was satisfied. So I had the surgery. The reason I chose this clinic was that even the revision surgery reviews looked natural, which was what drew me in first. When I went for consultations in person, they were kind, just as I had heard, and the director listened well and explained the surgical details in a way I could understand, so I chose them. The surgery also finished quickly, and aside from feeling stuffy because of the cotton packing, everything was good. Even though it was revision surgery, it doesn’t feel like my nose was worked on multiple times, and it looks really natural. I think the line is also much more refined than after my first surgery. Since it’s revision surgery, I need to allow more time for swelling and recovery compared with the first surgery and keep watching it, but for now I’m satisfied because the line looks refined and the nose area seems to have gotten smaller~ From my experience, when you don’t like the result after your first surgery, you end up stressing while worrying about it until you get revision surgery. I’m not recommending cosmetic surgery, but if your nose shape turned out badly after the first surgery and you’re debating whether to get revision surgery, I felt that carefully choosing and re-choosing a clinic that suits you well, then getting revision surgery to improve it, can also be a good option.
