Eye Surgery Reviews

My congested monolid eyes and dull under-eye area were fixed with canthoplasty!

Before surgery, I felt more stressed by how congested my eyes looked in videos than in selfies... Even when I extended my eyeliner and piled on mascara, my eyes still looked cramped, and every time I smiled the under-eye fat stood out, so people kept saying I looked tired...😡😡😡 In the early stage after surgery, there was still a little residual swelling, but now, 6 months later, it has settled in completely as if it were my own eyes, and it looks so much more natural! What I like most is the area I had rear canthoplasty on! A lot of people worry that canthoplasty areas might reattach over time or that the line will become awkward, right? But there has been no reattachment at all, and it has kept the same refreshing, widened angle that was created at the beginning... The cramped monolid feeling I used to have is completely gone, and because the horizontal length of my eyes got longer, the empty space in my face looks smaller too, so in videos I look much better than in real life! And after lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, the skin under my eyes settled in very smoothly and cleanly, and the dark circles that looked shadowed under lighting or outdoors during vlog filming disappeared completely. Since the tired-looking impression is gone, my face on screen looks so much brighter and more lively, and I’m really happy. Before, every time I edited videos, I spent ages blurring under my eyes and adjusting the tone up. On days when I filmed outdoors, the shadows under my eyes looked even stronger in the sunlight, so I would cake on several thick layers of concealer. But now, even if I just switch on the basic camera and film casually, the area under my eyes looks bright, so my editing steps have been cut in half! Thanks to that, editing time has dropped a lot too, and these days filming and uploading videos is much more fun
