Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of Hugo

I thought my eyelids were just sagging, so I went around looking into upper blepharoplasty. Three places all said they could just remove the loose skin, but here they told me to relax my forehead and slightly lift my eyebrows with my fingers. When I did that, the heavy feeling in my upper eyelids disappeared, and I was a bit surprised. They said the problem was not the eyelids but the brow area. I had also always worried about forehead wrinkles, and they said it was because my lowered eyebrows were being lifted by my forehead muscles instead. Suddenly I understood why my eyes felt heavy whenever I got forehead botox. They did the procedure with a few incisions inside the scalp using an endoscope, and the explanation beforehand was longer than the surgery itself. They told me in advance that it wouldn't be a surgery that changes you dramatically, and that was true. It isn't excessive, which I think was actually fortunate. The only downside is that scalp sensation stays dulled for longer than I expected. It's been two months, and when I touch the top of my head it still feels like someone else's skin. The swelling also went down to the upper eyelids, so I couldn't go outside for two weeks. I think the biggest thing was that they decided the order for me, because if I had started with upper blepharoplasty, my eyes would have felt even more heavy.
