Functional rhinoplasty + septal cartilage nasal tip

I’m a man, and while having functional rhinoplasty for a deviated septum and chronic rhinitis, I also had cosmetic rhinoplasty to raise the nasal tip using septal cartilage. One week after surgery, the splint was removed and the external stitches were taken out. The nasal tip is that red, and it feels like something inside is tightly packed and full. It’s not just red; I can also see something like a white core(?) in the middle of the red area, so I’m wondering if the sharp part of the cartilage might be poking the nasal skin, but when I touch it, it doesn’t hurt that much. I’m curious whether cartilage show-through or inflammation can occur even when surgery is done with one’s own septal cartilage. I’m scheduled to see and consult with my surgeon, and I’m planning to keep watching it a bit more.
