Before <obvious recessed chin to anyone ..!> After <when the swelling was at its peak ..> After <I only have photos up to day 4 lololol> At first, I had zygoma surgery at a hospital in Apgujeong that’s famous for facial contouring. But after only doing the cheekbones, my square jaw and recessed chin started bothering me so muchㅜㅜㅜ After thinking about it, I had surgery this March! Since I was going under anesthesia anyway, I asked about an AS revision for the zygoma, and they recommended not shaving the side cheekbones any further lololol (I had consultations at other hospitals too, and they also said my cheekbones had already been shaved enough, so even if I had surgery there would be almost no effect and I probably wouldn’t be satisfied lol..) I wanted to avoid facial sagging as much as possible, so I think the director stopped me because shaving more could make it sag. I knew that too, but you know how people gradually get more greedy, thinking, “Should I have shaved this area just a bit more?” But when I read posts about side effects, it was scary.. I think going for a perfect doll-like line means you have to accept faster sagging and cheek hollowing right after surgery.. At first I only wanted to tidy up the line, but I gradually got greedy and thought, since I’m paying so much, should I make it more noticeable? But I just listened to the director. The director also seemed to pursue a natural look. Still, they said they could do some shaving on the 45-degree cheekbone area, so while I was under anesthesia I did 45-degree cheekbone shaving, square jaw reduction, chin tip advancement, and cheek liposuction hehe. As I watch the swelling gradually go down, I’m very satisfied!! On the first day it hurt more than I expected, so I briefly regretted it, but after some time passed it got better haha. After being discharged and coming home, I focused on swelling care, and I got used to the slightly heavy/aching feeling in my chin? lololol I didn’t even pay attention to the nerves. I only thought about how to manage the swelling and made plans.. But I usually have really, really severe rhinitis, so I can’t breathe through my nose, and my lips were so swollen that I couldn’t breathe through my mouth eitherㅜㅜ So even though they told me not to use a straw, I shoved one into my mouth, relaxed my lips, and breathed through it lol… From the first day after surgery, I woke up a few times because I couldn’t breathe while sleeping, so it was a bit scary. After about 5 days, maybe thanks to the medication prescribed by the hospital, my runny nose completely stopped lololol Once I could breathe well, I was so comfortable that I even slept without realizing my chin was being pressedㅜㅜ Fortunately, they said a little pressure on the chin is okay as long as it doesn’t hurt hehe. They say time is the answer for swelling care, but once I took the medication, the major swelling went down faster than any cosmetic-surgery swelling I’ve ever had. I took medication said to work directly on swelling and walked for about 10 minutes, and when I came home and looked in the mirror, I could see the difference right away.. Now I walk most reasonable distances and am dieting .. just here and there. Like replacing one or two meals a day with a shake .. Anyway, I wrote this because I remembered how I looked around everywhere before facial contouring surgery!! I think with facial contouring surgery, you really need to research a lot and do plenty of online and in-person consultationsㅜㅜㅜ I live outside Seoul, so I only researched online before going, but fortunately I got a result I’m very satisfied with haha. Once my bone has been shaved, it won’t come backㅜㅜ And people around me always bring up sagging. I naturally think sagging will come someday hehe. Even without surgery, skin sags as we age naturally, and since the bone that supported it has been shaved, of course it will sag faster than in people who didn’t have surgeryㅜㅜ Still, I’m managing it whenever I can at home or work, and I’m also getting procedures preventively in advance. Starting 2 years later, I plan to get lifting lasers consistently hehe.
+Additional note: I guess I’m not supposed to use polite speech???? It’s my second day since joining, so I only just found out lol ha. So I edited itㅜ
