Review of Implant-Free Rhinoplasty at Mind Plastic Surgery

I underwent implant-free rhinoplasty to improve my hump nose and low nasal tip. After surgery, a step-off formed at the junction between the nasal bridge and nasal tip, so the line is not smooth, looks uneven and bumpy, and I barely feel any improvement in the hump nose that had been my original concern. Also, even though I clearly stated before surgery that I did not want my septal cartilage used, I confirmed after surgery that part of my septal cartilage had been harvested. Even though the surgical method changed, I was not informed at all before or after surgery. In addition, the ear cartilage donor site looked like it had filled with too much blood, so I suspected a hematoma and asked about it via KakaoTalk, but I was told that this amount of filling was normal and that it was okay, so no separate treatment was done. As a result, my ear shape is now deformed due to an auricular hematoma. Currently, I am generally dissatisfied with the aesthetic result, the lack of explanation during the surgical process, and even the ear deformity. Since 6 months have passed, I do not think this is still a stage where I should just keep monitoring the progress, so I am considering revision surgery.
