Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Office workers, how did you all get through it until nose implant removal?

I regret impulsively getting nose surgery so much. The shape is so devastating and it doesn’t suit me… My face used to look gentle, but now only my nose is bigger and higher, so all I can see is my nose and the whole harmony is ruined. I look like an alien… I can’t even go around showing my face. It’s not just a period of anxiety after surgery; something is really wrong, and I feel like I’m going to develop a mental illness. For everyone who went through the same thing as me, how are you managing work life? Or is there anyone who endured this kind of situation well and successfully had removal? How did you withstand people’s stares? Do I just have to resign myself to it and act shamelessly? No matter how much I struggle, feeling so powerless because I can’t get it removed right away as I want is awful. I chose this myself, and I can’t blame anyone, but it feels like my life is ruined. Wasted money, wasted time, wasted health… When everyone else is moving ahead at their prime, why am I going backward? How am I supposed to endure this? It’s not like I can keep wearing a mask forever. I’m really depressed all day and can think of nothing but nose removal. I can’t focus on work, I’m becoming socially avoidant, and I’m wondering if I should take leave… If I avoid people or look intimidated, will they think I’m even stranger? Should I just act like usual?
