It had been a long time since I had lateral canthoplasty, and my eye shape looked somewhat stuffy, so I wanted my eyes to look larger and more open. But I didn’t want it to look too obviously surgical, so I looked into many places that could create a natural yet definite change. Then I found out about Wave Canthoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic, and I carefully looked through the review photos, which I really liked. So I made an appointment and had a consultation. Since it was revision surgery, I was worried, but the reviews were good, and I trusted the skilled chief director, Dr. Kim Jin-hyung, so I decided to have the surgery. I had consultations with the manager and Dr. Kim Jin-hyung at the plastic surgery clinic, and they explained everything in detail and kindly. They said they would make the eye shape I wanted look natural while still clearly widening the eyes, and since it was revision surgery, the existing lateral canthoplasty scar couldn’t be helped, but they would do their best to minimize scarring. That made me trust them even more, and I scheduled the surgery feeling good, like it would go well. After the surgery, it didn’t hurt as much as I expected, and there wasn’t much bruising or swelling, so it was okay. I was satisfied because I could clearly see that my eye shape had become larger and more open. From the day after surgery, it swelled a bit more, but it wasn’t severe, so I managed the swelling diligently with compresses. When the stitches were removed a week later, it hurt a little, but it was bearable. Once I was able to wash my face, the swelling definitely went down a lot, and after 2 weeks, it looked much more natural. My eyes definitely got bigger, the outer corners looked more open, there were none of the scars I had worried about, and it looked natural, so I was very satisfied! I really think I made the right choice getting Wave Canthoplasty at that clinic. I have absolutely no regrets, no side effects, and the results are good, so I’m really happy~!
