I’ve been living with a silicone + septal cartilage nose for about 13 years. But it’s too high, so I’m trying to get revision surgery.
Originally, I considered complete removal too, but knowing my personality, I think I’d eventually get nose surgery again.
So I’m thinking of either implant-free surgery or using silicone again but lowering the height..
I’m really, really torn about whether to use dermis for the nasal bridge with implant-free surgery or use silicone again. My original nose had a really low bridge, and only the nasal tip was a bit high. So far, I’ve lived fine with silicone without inflammation. But with dermis, the absorption rate differs for everyone, and since there aren’t reviews from 5 or 10 years later, it feels unverified by my standards.. Sometimes it absorbs unevenly and becomes bumpy too..
Is there anyone here who has had dermis for a long time?? If I’m worried about the shape and height with dermis, would it be right to just go with silicone?
