Something about the mucous membrane and bone located on both inner walls of the nose... I heard the explanation, but I don’t remember it, and the uncomfortable symptom I felt was chronic nasal congestion... Everyone, did you know that if your nose stays blocked, it can even lead to headaches? There are a lot of rumors saying that even if you get rhinitis surgery, it just comes back, but first of all, I had to be able to breathe, sob sob So I looked into revision surgery + functional rhinoplasty, and I got revision surgery at a hospital where reimbursement through actual-expense insurance was possible for functional rhinoplasty. I’m satisfied with both the line and the improvement in rhinitis!!! I had surgery last September, so it’s still a bit early to talk about how well it will hold up, but so far I’ve been doing well without any problems, and I’m so satisfied because I never knew a day without rhinitis could feel this grateful. As you can see from the photos, of course I didn’t only get functional rhinoplasty I also got revision rhinoplasty, and if you ask why I didn’t do functional rhinoplasty together during my first surgery... It’s because I was fine back then ^.^ It was a condition that developed as a side effect of the revision rhinoplasty, so I got it done together when I had the revision Also, the problem was that the nasal tip had dropped, making it look pointy and protruding, and the skin sagged more toward the bottom, making my midface look longer too... For the revision, I even had 5 mm of silicone inserted, but maybe because my other facial features are also prominent (not bragging, just fact), it suits me well without looking out of place, so I like it. For the nasal tip, I used donated costal cartilage, and it definitely feels different from when I had ear cartilage and septal cartilage inserted. At first it was really hard, so I thought I was screwed, but as the tissue recovers, the feeling is gradually softening! When I went for consultations, even though it was a revision, I consistently pushed the attitude of “I don’t know anything?? do I??” I’m actually very interested in plastic surgery, so I have a decent amount of information, and I roughly knew to some extent what I needed at that time. So even though it was a revision, I pretended to be a newbie ^.^ and got consultations, and that helped quite a bit It was good because I could check things like whether they push excessive recommendations, and whether they answer everything kindly even if I throw a bomb of questions at them Anyway, I liked that the director at the place where I had surgery carefully checked both the cause of my rhinitis and the revision design. Everyone, when getting rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty, what did you consider most important to check??
